Jacki Brice Boxing Promotions will present a boxing show on April 19th in Cape Town, South Africa. In the heavyweight main event, Joshua Pretorius, fighting out of KwaZulu-Natal, will take on Uganda's Shafic Kiwanuka, while South Africa's Lwando Mngambi and Lebogang Pilane square off in the super flyweight division. Pretorius (9-8 with 5 KOs), is a former South Africa and African Boxing Union champion, winning both titles against undefeated Juan Roux in March of 2022. His opponent, Kiwanuka ha a record of 5-0-1 with 4 KOs.

 

Mngambi (5-0 with 2 KOs) is probably the favorite against Pilane (6-7 with 3 KOs), but he is arguably fighting what is at least on paper his best opponent to date. Despite his mediocre record, Pilane has proven his worth as he barely lost a split decision to Sanele Mhlungu and is coming off victories in a row.
