On Friday, July 11th, at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano III will stream live globally on Netflix. The show will be broadcast on all Netflix plans at no additional cost. The all-women show is scheduled to see 21 world title belts contested across five championship bouts. One of the fights on this Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) show will see IBF super middleweight champion Savannah “The Silent Assassin” Marshall (pictured) take on WBO champion Shadasia “The Sweet Terminator” Green (14-1, 11 KOs) in a ten-round 168-pounds world title unification bout. The fight marks the culmination of years of rivalry between Marshall (13-1, 10 KOs) and Green, both now signed under MVP’s women’s banner.

 

“Defending my IBF belt in a unification fight with Shadasia Green, on an all-women’s card such as this, is a great way to start my new journey with MVP,” Marshall told Netflix. “There are so many great women on one show at the iconic Madison Square Garden, and I’m beaming that I can play my part in it.” Marshall is a two-weight world champion, having reigned at middleweight until a 2022 loss to Claressa Shields. In 2023, she defeated Franchon Crews-Dezurn to become the undisputed world super middleweight world champion. She hasn't had a pro boxing match since then, and now holds only the IBF title. In 2024, she won a mixed martial arts bout.

 

Green is MVP’s first homegrown champion and WBO  titeholder at 168 pounds — when headlining the preliminary card of Paul vs. Tyson in November 2024, Green defeated Melinda Watpool to become the new WBO world champion.  “I’m looking forward to putting on a great show, and I’m certain that Marshall will bring the best out of me,” said Green.
