Tarver reportedly denied boxing license in Georgia

According to ESPN.com, the state of Georgia has refused to license Antonio Tarver, and as a result, Tarver will not be able to box former MMA champion Frank Mir on April 17th. The report said that Tarver was disqualified by a reult that required applicants for a boxing license who are over the age of 50 to have had at least ten fights in the last ten years. Tarver is 52 years old and has not fought in six years, with only five fights over the past decade. The ESPN article mentioned former cruiserweight champion Steve Cunningham as a possible replacement to face Mir. The main event that nightis Youtber Jake Paul vs. ex-MMA champ Ben Askren.
