Taylor has until Dec. 20th to decide in which division she will retain WBO recognition

On November 25th in Dublin, Katie Taylor made history by becoming a two-division undisputed world champion. Already the world lightweight champion, Taylor defeated Chantelle Cameron via majority decision to become the world junior welterweight champion. Taylor now holds eight major titles, the big four in each weight division. However, the WBO is acting under its rules to have Taylor pick the division in which she will remain WBO champion. WBO rules give Taylor ten days to make her decision. However, the WBO has extended Taylor's time through December 20th.
