Swift Promotions has put together an all-star crew of announcers highlighted by Brooklyn’s own world champion Teofimo Lopez providing fight analysis for the “Farewell To Brooklyn” event taking place Saturday, October 18th headlined by Danny “Swift” Garcia taking on Queens-native Daniel “El Gallo” Gonzalez from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The fight card will stream exclusively through Millions.co with a pay-per-view broadcast beginning at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT with twelve scheduled attractions featured with purchase of the event. Joining Lopez to provide fight analysis are former champions Andre Berto and Chris Algieri, as the trio provide one-of-a-kind analysis based off their years of experience at the highest level of the sport. Algieri will deliver ringside analysis throughout the evening, with Lopez and Berto providing insights from both the host desk and ringside for select fights. Manning the blow-by-blow duties is renowned broadcaster Brian Campbell, who in addition to his role at CBS Sports has worked numerous PBC on Prime Video and Showtime Boxing events throughout his career.
Holding down the fort at the host desk is veteran broadcaster and boxing personality Akin “AK” Reyes, who is well known for his boxing shows on both DAZN and the All The Smoke network. Reyes will also provide in-ring interviews throughout the show, giving fans immediate reactions from fighters after their bouts.
“October 18th is gonna be boxing at its best, so we knew we had to put the best announcers the sport has to offer on this pay-per-view,” said Danny Garcia, CEO of Swift Promotions. “Teofimo, Berto and Algieri have seen everything you can imagine in the ring, and they’ll give fans great perspectives, and have fun doing it. I had to pull out all the stops for my ‘Farewell To Brooklyn’ and I’m really excited for this crew to do their thing on fight night.”
Tickets for the live event are on sale now and are available through Ticketmaster.com.
Swift Promotions will put on their biggest event to date as they deliver the return of Danny “Swift” Garcia to the venue he’s made a home away from home for over a decade. “Swift” fight nights in Brooklyn have delivered some of Barclays Center’s most memorable nights and will surely provide an electric atmosphere once again on October 18.
