Kevin Hayler Brown W10 Julian Smith... At the Caribe Royale Hotel in Orlando, Florida, Cuba's Kevin Hayler Brown went ten rounds for the first time in his career, defeating Julian Smith (6-2) of Illinois. Hayler won the junior welterweight bout by scores of 98-92 and 96-94 (twice). The winner's record improves to 5-0 (including the World Series of Boxing). 

Ashton Sylve W8 Adam Kipenga... The main event in Orlando was the first Most Valuable Prospects event. It was headlined by the lightweight contest between undefeated teenager Ashton Sylve and late replacement Adam Kipenga (11-4-1). Sylve rang up a wide unanimous decision win over the Tanzanian Kipenga.  Sylve controlled the fight from the opening bell and was able to land a number of big blows on Kipenga who managed to stay strong throughout the eight rounds.
