Egis Klimas, manager of world/WBC light heavyweight champion Oleksandr Gvodzyk to light heavyweight contender Sullivan Barrera: "You had your opportunity and turned down Gvozdyk. Say thanks to your manager whom no one in boxing business wants to talk to or deal with. You can [tell] me again he is watching [out for] your interest but for real he is just ruining your career.... sorry to break the news."

 

Klimas was responding to this tweet from Barrera, who was criticizing Gvodzyk for signing to defend against Doudou Ngumbu: "Think about a world champion defending his title against a guy [with a] 33-8 [record] with the name dudu 💩 just think bout this for one minute!"

 

After some back-and-forth with Barrera, or someone typing in English on behlf of the Cuban Sullivan, Klimas continued: "Too bad [these tweets are not] coming from you, but  [from] somebody else typing for you. But just in case you will read this, with your skills and the type of fighter you are, you should have been a world champion long ago. But now you can face a reality and you are in position [where you] may not have another chance. Good luck!
