Sad news out of Great Britain... undefeated British junior middleweight Georgia O’Connor has passed away at the too-young age of 25 following a brave battle with a rare and aggressive form of cancer. O’Connor had recently been hospitalized for her illness but she was unfortunately unable to win this fight. In professional boxing, she had a short but successful career, turning pro in 2021, and recording three victories in three fights. She was also a multiple amateur junior medal winner. She was a five-time English national and Commonwealth champion, and a two-time world and European champion.
