Vaughn Alexander KO2 Kevin Brown... On Saturday, October 22, at The Ambassador in St. Louis, MO, Vaughn Alexander (6-0, 5 KOs), the older brother of former two-division champion Devon Alexander, made his return to the ring after twelve years off with a second-round knockout of Kevin Brown (0-4). Alexander went to prison for amred robbery in 2005, but remained in good condition all of these years with the intention of resuming his career. In the amateur ranks, Alexander holds wins over Timothy Bradley, Andre Dirrell, Austin Trout and Vanes Martirosyan. Before his incarceration, Alexander had a promotional contract with Don King Promotions and was touted as a future champion. As he continues to shed the rust, Alexander has his sights set on the middleweight division. Alexander told Boxingtalk, “I’m so happy and appreciative to be back. All praise due to Allah! I’m ready to make my mark on the middleweight division. One down, plenty more to go.”
