Venezuelan cruiserweight Albert Ramirez (16-0, 15 KOs) will be fighting experienced Gilberto Castillo Rivera a/k/a Lenin Castillo in a ten rounder on Saturday, September 23rd in Monaco.  This will be the third fight of 2023 for 31-\ year-old Ramirez, who defeated Ghana's Jacob Dickson (9-1) by knockout in the first round. Later in the year, Ramirez defeated local Ricardo Adrian Luna (25-10-2) in Mexico, by knockout in the fourth round of the fight. 

 

 

A 35 year-old Dominican, Castillo will be back in action after almost eight months of inactivity. His last fight was at the end of last year, where he defeated Colombian Alex Theran by knockout in the fourth round.  Castillo (24-4-1, 19 KOs) has accumulated four wins by knockout and one knockout loss to former champion Callum Smith (27-1) in his five most recent bouts.
