The WBA has ordered its minimumweight champion Thammanoon Niyomtrong a/k/a Knockout CP Freshmart (pictured) to make a mandatory defense against the very tough Hasanboy Dusmatov. From Uzbekistan, Dusmatov is a 2016 Olympic champion listed with a pro record of 6-0. However, Boxingtalk considers Dusmatov to be 19-0 due to his participation in paid bouts as part of the World Series of Boxing. Niyomtrong is 24-0 so this will be a great 105-pound bout if it comes off.
