The WBC has ordered a purse bid for a light heavyweight elimination bout between former super middleweight Callum Smith (pictured) of the United Kingdon UK and Mathieu Bauderlique of France. The purse bid is slated to take place on Friday, July 1st. Smith is 28-1 but has had only one fight since losing his 168-pound titles to Canelo Alvarez in 2020. Bauderlique is 21-1 and won the European light heavyweight title last year. His one loss came in 2017.
