Junto Nakatani KO6 Petch Sor Chitpattana... In the main event of the big Tokyo world title triple header, Junto Nakatani remained the WBC bantamweight champion, defeating Thailand's Petch Sor Chitpattana a/k/a Tasana Salapat, a/k/a Petch CP Freshmart. An undefeated, three-division champion who is beginning to crack most pound-for-pound top ten lists, Nakatani started slowly against his fellow southpaw, before flooring him midway through the sixth round. Nakatani (29-0) scored a second knockdown in the same round and the fight was stopped without the need for a ten count. Chitpattana still holds an outstanding pro record of 76-2, although that record is seriously padded against weak competition.
