Guido Vianello KO5 Alexis Barriere... Heavyweight Guido Vianello, a 2016 Italian Olympian, knocked out Canadian champion Alexis Barriere in the fifth round of the Boots Ennis undercard in Philadelphia. A hard right hook to the temple dropped Barriere against the ropes. The referee took a closer look, and halted the action upon seeing Barriere's struggle to stand up. Barriere entered the fight undefeated in twelve prior paid bouts. Vianello's record is listed at 14-3-1 but due to paid bouts in the World Series of Boxing, a more accurate record is 21-8-1. He was coming off a loss to Richard Torrez, but before that, he stopped Arslanbek Makhmudov and can now be considered a fringe contender again.
