The Featherweight is a 2023 American biographical sports drama film directed by Robert Kolodny, written by Steve Loff, and starring James Madio as the 126-pound great Willie Pep. Showings of The Featherweight, a drama based on a period in the Hall of Famer's life and career - his 1960s comeback in his 40s, to be exact - began on Sept, 18th in New York City.  More than a dozen Connecticut theaters will be showing the film between Sept. 20th and Sept. 26th.
