Winky Wright, Vitali Klitschko and Erik Morales elected to International Boxing Hall of Fame

The International Boxing Hall of Fame and Museum in Canastota, New York has announced its Class of 2018. Inductees include three modern boxers who all enter the Hall in their first year of eligibility: Vitali Klitschko, Erik Morales and Ronald “Winky” Wright. Non-participants and observers to be inducted include German promoter Klaus-Peter Kohl (Universum) and broadcasters Steve Albert and Jim Gray. The Hall of Fame also released names of posthumous honorees Sid Terris (old-timer category), ring announcer Johnny Addie and promoter Lorraine Chargin (non-participant category). "We’re extremely excited about the Class of 2018 and are very much   looking forward to paying tribute to the new inductees in Canastota next June,” said Executive Director Edward Brophy. The 2018 Hall of Fame Induction Weekend will be held June 7-10th in Canastota.
